The business world is full of organizations desperate to innovate and find the creativity needed to change in difficult times. Yet, most companies have a negative outlook. It's so easy to find fault in things and generally take a gloomy attitude. Businesses become so focused on the problems that face them that they forget that to solve the problems they need to look at possibilities. Looking at the negative closes the mind. Dewitt Jones teaches us to attack problems a little differently. Look for the positive in everything. He encourages us to Celebrate What's Right With The World instead of what's wrong.

You have to believe it in order to see it. Creativity comes when our minds are open. If you don't believe it is going to come then most of the time you will be right. Innovation comes with belief.

You have to recognize abundance. With all of the negativity in the news and all around us, it's easy to look upon the world as a place of scarcity, but in actuality the world is full of abundance. There is great, beauty in everything and everywhere. When you truly believe this, the world will open up for you.

Possibilities are everywhere. When you approach a problem, focus on the possibilities. There are even possibilities in our problems. If we focus only on the problem our mind is closed to these possibilities.

Unleash all of your energy when you look to fix what is wrong. Nothing can be accomplished without a full effort. If we are only put a small amount of ourselves into something, we might as well not even show up. A focused high energy approach to things we care about will bring about change.

In order to achieve innovation and move ourselves forward, we need to ride the change. There is no reason to fight change. Change is constant and it is here to stay. Fighting it will only result in failure. The world moves at break-net speed and change is now the norm.

Take yourself to the edge. Don't be afraid to take risks. Unless we are living on the edge, we won't find the new ideas that allow us to innovate and move forward with new ideas. Living in safety will ultimately result in failure. Only the bold truly make the changes that change the world.

Lastly, be your best for the world. When we do what is right for the world, we will find ourselves opening doors of possibility. This positive approach opens our minds and vanquishes the negative thoughts that allow our minds to close.

To many the world seems hopeless and small and lacking in possibilities, then there are those who have read and watched Dewitt Jones. His focus on celebrating what's right with the world rather than what's wrong has opened up a generation to the possibilities and abundance in everything. The world is a positive place if only we see it as so.
