Confined Space Entry

Confined spaces have limited or restricted means for entry or exit. These spaces present a high number of hazards, requiring detailed training to prevent serious or life threatening mishaps. To protect employees working in confined spaces our professionally created videos provide everything you need to assist in confined entry safety training. Confined spaces include, but are not limited to underground vaults, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos, process vessels, and pipelines - spaces not designed for continuous employee occupancy.

OSHA uses the term "permit-required confined space" (CFR 1910.146) to describe a confined space that have one or more of the following characteristics: contains or has the potential to contain a hazardous atmosphere; contains a material that has the potential to engulf an entrant; has walls that converge inward or floors that slope downward and taper into a smaller area which could trap or asphyxiate an entrant; or contains any other recognized safety or health hazard, such as unguarded machinery, exposed live wires, or heat stress.

The Confined Space Awareness training video is based on CFR 1910.146, and provides information on confined space identification, hazardous atmospheres, physical hazards, entrance and exit hazards, hazard prevention and permits. Employers are required to train employees that are involved in confined space entry.

Confined spaced training videos show students how and where the hazards in confined and enclosed space entries come from. They also show how to control those hazards through: Pre-entry Procedures, Attendant and Entrant Responsibilities, and Safe Emergency Response. Prepare your employees to safely work in confined hazards. Use our amazing, info-packed confined space entry training videos to exceed the OSHA requirements and prepare your employees for any confined space entry.
