A new, award-winning video for any professionals who come into contact with children, Abused Kids: See It! Stop It! provides a thorough examination of the warning signs of child abuse for "mandated reporters". The program details each of the four major types of child abuse: neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse, while providing statistics for each category. The viewer learns to recognize possible signs of each kind of abuse, and emphasizes facts connected with each type, including the fact that most children are sexually abused by individuals that they know. The video encourages professionals who report child abuse to see it as a public safety issue, and to have confidence in getting involved.
